No Escape - Back On The Streets 7" EP
No Escape – Back On The Streets EP 7” (Longshot Music / Under Watchful Eyes)
No Escape is a trio that formed in 2000 by brothers Takuro Maeda (Vocal/Guitar) and Hirotaka Maeda (Bass/Chorus) who live in Tottori City. The following year, in 2001, they had their first live performance, and at the end of that year, a sample tape recorded in the studio was distributed for free at the live performance. In 2002, they released a coupling tape with NAPALM BUSU from Tsuyama, Okayama Prefecture. They have been constantly performing live since shortly after forming, and in 2003 they started the No Escape project "Shout It Loud ".
Like previous No Escape releases, all tracks on “Back On The Streets” are in English. This immediately gives them a different sound like the gross of the rough, thunderous Japanese bands out there. With a style similar to their fellow countrymen, the music and vocals are clearly influenced by British Oi! and punk of the 80’s.
